The film ��Crossing�� has been selected as the Korean submission for Best Foreign Language Film at next year's Oscars. ,christian louboutin

The film is based on the true story of 25 North Korean refugees who stormed through the gates of the Spanish Embassy in Beijing back in 2002.

Directed by Kim Tae-kyun and starring Cha In-pyo,christian louboutin, the drama focuses on a North Korean father and son who individually cross over into China but struggle to find each other.

��Crossing�� will compete against 67 other international contenders,supra shoes, with the five nominees being announced on Jan. 22 next year.

The 81st Academy Awards will be held on Feb. 22 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
